Remember me?

Yes, it's been a long time since I've posted. So sue me. I've been busy.

We went to Yellowstone with friends at the end of June. You can see the pics here:

I've been sick for a couple of weeks - I'm finally getting better, but it was pretty bad there for a while. That's a big part of why no one's heard from me lately. I had a nasty kidney infection that I let go waaaaay too long before going to the doctor. It knocked me on my ass and kept me there for a long time. Needless to say, I have learned my lesson. Right now I'm focusing on trying to rebuild my health - getting more sleep, eating better, and of course no alcohol for a while.




In spite of being wrung-out by my illness and still pretty weak, I went to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers last Friday. There was no way I was going to miss that! I was fortunate to have a friend whose company has a suite at the Pepsi Center invite me along - so not only did I get to see the show *for free,* I got to do it in comfort and style. Thanks man!!!







My firstborn started first grade today *sniff* He's been so excited about it for weeks. I was worried about getting him out of bed on time, but he came in and woke me up half an hour early. :-)
